 Chicago is one of the most famous cities in the USA. Most of all this is because of its past as the city of gangs and gangsters. The new Chicago, however, is quite another thing. It is the city of art and architecture. It is a very beautiful city. Its entire skyline is situated on the shore of Lake Michigan. Go to the Adler Planetarium by the lake and you will see all of this: The entire skyline spread out before your eyes. In the foreground see the light blue lake and the dark blue sky above. Wonderful.   The architecture is brilliant. Chicago is "The world's first city of architecture". Take a guided walk on its streets. Explore! You will see impressive architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright, the world's most renowned architect. Sail on the Chicago River and look at the buildings - and the bridges. Tribune Tower. Wrigley Building. Michigan Avenue Bridge. Sun Times Building. Merchandise Mart. Sears Tower. Impressive, impressive, impressive.   Take a walk on Michigan Avenue, it's like walking on Fifth Avenue in New York and Rodeo Drive in Hollywood at the same time.  Hire a taxi and take a ride on Lake shore Drive. W. Wacker Drive. Randolph Street. Columbus Drive. La Salle Street. Van Buren Street. Wabash Avenue.   There are huge sculptures on every street corner. Oldenburg's "Batcolumn". Buffet's "Monument with Standing Beast". Alexander Calder's "Flamingo". Picasso's "the Picasso".   The Art Institute of Chicago is second to none. There is the largest collection in the world of modern art. With all the important artists. Marc Chagall. Juan Miró. Vincent van Gogh. Why do we not have such a museum in Europe?             In the streets you will find Yellow-Pig-Casso. He is working on a painting of Sears Tower.       And Red-Pig-Casso is working on a painting of the John Hancock Tower.       Exactly the two buildings that Mr. Jacob, a nice chicago business pig, believes are the most significant in Chicago. Mr. Jacob is proud of his city, it has a Symphony Orchestra, several theaters and blues music and then it has the Cubs, the White Sox and the Chicago Bulls!! And many things more.   Mr. Jacob runs a business making pork rinds. It is the largest private label pork rind manufacturer on Earth....   "We are the best in the business", he says and his slogan is "And remember, there is no party without pork rinds".       In Denmark there are nearly twice as many pigs as human beings. To maintain their business position Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. went to Denmark to secure the delivery of pallets for his business. They went to Odense. A city like Chicago. Art Museums. Symphony Orchestra. Theaters. But. No architecture at all. However. They indeed have Hans Christian Andersen, the fairy tale writer. He was born in Odense on 2nd April 1805.       Shortly after landing at the airport Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. visited the Hans Christians Andersen Museum in the center of Odense.         ...................    Look at that poster! Jacob Jr. said to Mr. Jacob.   Underneath the poster: Hans Christian Andersen Festival Plays in The Funen Village in Odense, where Hans Christian Andersen was born in 1805, announces its logo and The Nightingale, as usual written by director Erik Bent Svendlund. Asbjorn Lonvig has designed the logo and poster each year for several years. 2000, 2001, 2002 and now 2003. In 2004 the musical is Thumbelina and in 2005 on Hans Christian Andersen's 200 year birthday it will be a medley of Andersen's fairy tales. We have asked our Queen Margaret II to do the wing design in 2005. As you might already know Queen Margaret II of Denmark is a very skilled artist.   We know Hans Christian Andersen and we know the fairy tale The Nightingale, but who is Kims? Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. wondered.     .............................................    We know Hans Christian Andersen and we know the fairy tale The Tinder-Box, but who is Kims? Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. wondered.   ...........................................    We know Hans Christian Andersen and we know the fairy tale The Steadfast Tin Soldier, but who is Kims? Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. wondered.     ........................................     We know Hans Christian Andersen and we know the fairy tale The Emperor's New Clothes, but who is Kims? Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. wondered.      We know Jack-the-Trucker, but who is Kims? Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. wondered.       We know Belinda-the-Bus, but who is Kims? Mr. Jacob and Jacob Jr. wondered.     Kims sponsors The Hans Christian Andersen Festival Plays. Kims foresees the potential in Hans Christian Andersen in 2005. Kims has huge signs on trucks and busses?   Who is Kims? "They make pork rinds, chips and snacks". And pellets? "Yes!" Let's buy Kims, Mr. Jacob said. "Kims is not for sale". Let's Join them, Mr. Jacob then said.     "Yes!!!", Kims said.   And Jacob Group Limited from Chicago and Kims from Odense (in the suburb Sonderso) established the company JK Ventures A/S. A brand new factory was inaugurated in Sonderso on 17th January 2003 by minister of economy and commerce Bendt Bendtsen. Now they produce 3000 tons of pellets yearly. Of which 80 % is sent to Jacob Group Limited's company Evans Food Products in the USA. And every day there are 24 determined employees standing on their heads to produce the best pellets on Earth. "We are the best in the business", Mr. Jacob still says.     ......and all the 24 of them remember, there is no party without pork rinds.     Thanks for letting us become a part of your fairy tale Siemens Technology Services Syd A/S
