Asbjorn Lonvig is a now living world renowned artist, designer, illustrator, storyteller and fairy tale writer. He was granted the World of Art Award by World of Art Magazine, London, UK. The editor of the World of Art Magazine said: “Absolute unique, dedicated, brilliant, excellent. Searching your web site I have to say that I AM IMPRESSED!!!" "...we granted you an award – The World of Art Award.” The World of Art Award is granted to artists, galleries and museums for the best practice in art and culture. This competition seeks to attract artists, galleries, museums who are redefining standards of art excellence challenging existing trends and tendencies in art and culture. Asbjorn Lonvig’s artist statement is: “Colorful Simplicity in Art as in Life.” Asbjorn Lonvig works in colorful simplicity even when he writes.
